NYCCDC welcomes dancers of all levels to join our company.
We are always looking for passionate dancers to grow with us. Whether you're an experienced performer or just beginning your journey with Chinese dance, we welcome you to audition. Dancers are grouped according to their individual level and experience, ensuring everyone trains and performs at a pace that fits them.
Performance Opportunities
As a member of NYCCDC, you'll have the opportunity to perform in 3–6 non-commercial performances per year, presented in partnership with respected cultural institutions and organizations, including China Institute in America,
Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in New York, Bank of America, Steps on Broadway, Dance Festival, etc.
Commitment
Members are expected to attend at least one 2-hour rehearsal per week, with an average of 26–30 rehearsals over each 6-month period. Regular attendance is strongly encouraged, as consistency is important for both individual growth and group cohesion. Absences should be kept to a minimum.
NYCCDC members have access to our discounted 6-Month Class Package, designed to support long-term training as you prepare for performances.

Age Requirement
Open to dancers 18 and older.
Auditions
We accept both in-person and online auditions on a rolling basis.
To apply, email us at nyccdc@quadrantarts.org with your name, dance or trained background, performing experience, and preferred audition format. We'll follow up with next steps.

演出机会

训练承诺
团员需保证每周至少参加一次 2 小时排练，过往六个月周期平均排练次数为 26–30 次。我们非常重视排练的持续性和稳定出勤，这对个人成长和团队默契都很重要，建议尽量避免请假。
